May Ukraine have peace
May Ukraine have power
May Ukraine keep its independence
May It stand tall like a bright sunflower
May the heavy dark smoke drift away
To reveal a clear blue sky
And may the ground swallow the fires
And bring up the wheat and rye
When the war began
We thought you might fall
But with your strength and courage
The Russian forces you did stall
May children be reunited with parents
May the hurt ones heal
May the country be rebuilt
Peace and democracy is the Ukrainian appeal
May Ukraine have peace
May Ukraine have power
May Ukraine keep its independence
May It stand tall like a bright sunflower!
